Why Endorsements Matter
Two types of endorsements
Ballot: Candidates and legislation that voters directly decide on during an election
Legislative: Bills and ordinances that elected officials sponsor or vote on during a legislative session. Puts pressure on electeds to craft and support pro-housing policy in the state legislature or their city councils. We'll be watching their voting records!
Our Endorsement Process
We request candidates who seek our endorsement answer a brief questionnaire on housing policy. We may invite candidates to attend a Q&A forum or debate. Members who are eligible and in good standing may vote on who to endorse via ranked choice voting.
